Terms of Service

1. Service description

ApiLux is a multi-model AI API platform. You top up credit in advance, then spend it on generation capabilities: text (chat), image generation, image editing, and video generation. Access is through the signed-in web console or through the API using your own API key. ApiLux routes requests to an upstream AI infrastructure provider; ApiLux does not train and does not operate those models itself.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Do not share your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, change your password and revoke your API keys immediately.

3. API keys

  • A key is shown exactly once at creation. ApiLux stores only a hash, never the original — nobody, ApiLux included, can retrieve your key afterwards.
  • Keys are server-side credentials. Putting a key in frontend code or a public repository publishes it.
  • You can revoke a key at any time on the API Keys page; revocation takes effect immediately.
  • Any request carrying your key is treated as yours and is charged to your balance.
  • You can set per-key limits so one abused key cannot drain the wallet.

4. Credit, pricing, and how you are charged

  • 1 credit = 1 VND. Credit pays for requests at the published rates.
  • Billing units: text per million tokens, images per image, video per second.
  • Every request costs at least 1 credit, even for very small usage.
  • Prices may change over time and apply only to requests made after the change. Usage history keeps the price that applied at the time.
  • Requests rejected before reaching the provider — unknown model, invalid parameters, insufficient balance — are not charged.
  • Video is charged when the job is created, based on the number of seconds you requested. Polling a job status is never charged again. If a job fails, the charge is refunded to your wallet exactly once.

5. Credit expiry

Purchased credit does not expire unless otherwise announced in advance.

6. Usage limits

ApiLux may enforce rate limits (requests per second and per minute) to protect shared infrastructure. A request blocked by a rate limit is not sent to the provider and is not charged. The upstream provider also applies its own limits.

7. Prohibited use

You may not use the service to produce content that is unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, privacy-invading, or infringing on third-party intellectual property. Scanning for vulnerabilities and deliberately circumventing technical limits are also prohibited. We may suspend accounts in breach.

8. Your content and AI-generated content

You retain rights to the content you submit. ApiLux does not store your request content or the generated results — only usage records (model, volume, charge) used for billing and for showing you your own statistics. AI-generated content is provided for reference only and is not warranted to be accurate, unique, or fit for any particular purpose.

9. Service availability

The service is provided on an as-is basis. There may be maintenance windows, and upstream capabilities may become temporarily unavailable — in that case requests are rejected and not charged.

10. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for damages arising from use of AI-generated content, from temporary unavailability of the service, or from your API key being exposed through your own error.

11. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the service after an update means you accept the new terms.
